Skittle Experiment/Floating S
What you need:
Water
Skittles candy
disposable bowl
What to do:
1. Place 3 skittles candies around the inside edge of the disposable bowl, with the S side up. Make sure the candy is not touching. (See pic A)
2. Pour water into the bowl till the skittles are just covered.
3. Watch as the colors start to fad into each other. (See pic B)
4. Once the colors start to touch start watching the S on the top of each candy. It will start to slide or float off the candy and disolve.(See pics C & D)
